I realised that I’ve never really expressed my feelings about a single song on here before, but this song feels like my life’s theme song of the moment so I had to share.
I followed JJ Project when they first debuted and when they debuted as part of GOT7, I never thought they would ever come back as a unit again, but I guess never say never? I was so excited when they announced their comeback. 😭
Their new album sounds nothing like their debut album but in a good way. It is SO much better and I fell in love with it instantly. In it, my favourite song is 내일, 오늘 (Tomorrow, Today), which is such a meaningful song and I’ve had it on constant replay since the album was released. The lyrics speak volumes to anyone who has ever felt uncertain about their lives. It feels like the theme song of my life of late, especially now that I’ve reached my late 20s and feel thrown into another quarter-life crisis. 😭 In order to understand how I feel, let’s take a look at the lyrics. 💕
M2 has graciously decided to bring us the ‘ASMR Lyric Live’ series, and while I don’t like ASMR in general, Jinyoung’s version of the song sounded so emotional and heartfelt that it touched me even more. 😭 역시 “아프니까 청춘이다”? 😔
Okay, I know this post is years overdue along with posts about my trip, but all I can say is that work then, and now school, took over my life and this ended up gathering dust in my drafts. I’ve decided it’s time to post them now that I’m just several days away from my 2017 trip. :p
I’d like to say a HUGE thank you to CheapTickets.sg for the tickets! I was really very surprised to receive a call at work that told me I won tickets to Korea. This is the biggest prize I’ve ever won in my entire life, and I’m glad that I took the chance to join the Facebook contest then. :p It was fun bringing my parents around, showing them the place I lived for 9 months and also walking with them the road I walked every day to school. It was also great seeing my friends again. :)
I’ve been enjoying watching Korean Englishman for quite a while now. Earlier this year, Josh and Ollie started a new series on their new channel, Jolly, called Ollie’s Korean Lessons! 올리의 한국어 배우기 도전! where Josh teaches Ollie some Korean using TTMIK♡’s workbooks, and it is absolutely hilarious!
It really reminds me of the beginnings of my own Korean language learning journey so I especially enjoy this series. Can’t wait for the next season!
A special MLR collaboration with Constance for Instagram!
I mentioned in an earlier Instagram post that I might start an Instagram MLR thing going and here is the first one! :D It sure was hard fitting two people into the 1 minute limit, but we did it! Though at a cost of cutting out a lot of things we wanted to say, lol.
